What is Red Power Round Up?

Red Power Round Up is the annual summer reunion and show
for members of International Harvester Collectors World Wide.
Exhibits come fromall over the world.  This event  always welcomes
the members and also the general public.

The first round up and organization of IH Collectors was
held in July of 1990 in conjunction with Power From the Past
in Winamac, Indiana.  IH Collectors was the "brain child" of
Freemont Hoover and setting up for the first show was
spearheaded by Cyde Berkshire, both current members
of Chapter 33.

The show is held in a different state each year and hosted
by a different chapter.  2010 will mark the first time the show
has been held in Indiana since IH Collectors was organized
back in 1990.

The 2010 show to be held in LaPorte, Indiana hosted by
International Harvester Collectors Club Northern Indiana
Chapter 33, Inc., was the 21st annual show and also marked
the 20th anniversary of International Harvester Collectors.

The only thing common to the annual show is a lot of RED paint.
Over the years there have been a variety of things to see and do
and you don't have to be an IH Collector to enjoy the event.
Never has there been two shows exactly alike.  Each show has
had a feature tractor, truck or piece of equipment.  There are
commemorative items sold each year at the show.
